Nipomo and Arroyo Grande, just across the Santa Maria River, are in San Luis Obispo County and fall under a different district with its own forms, fees and a three-year limit on survey age. Jobs on both sides of the river are common, and getting the district wrong delays a permit. We file with the right one.
