Located in San Luis Obispo, California, Bishops Peak Elementary School undertook an energy efficiency project for their gymnasium, spanning 9,386 square feet. The project involved using Demilec Closed-cell spray foam insulation, particularly suited for colder climates. The insulation was applied to the underside of a non-ventilated roof, providing an R6 value. This application created an effective air and moisture barrier, significantly improving the building’s overall efficiency.
